Be grateful for the things that happen FOR YOU and not TO YOU…. (Part 1)

That wasn’t easy to remember one month ago when I was at fault in an accident that created this damage.

Also extremely grateful no damage to the ute or any people, except for a little bit to my ego

So although extremely angry, frustrated and disappointed in myself on this day, I got on with what needed to be done.

I got ahold of insurance, the same day the repairer assessed the damage and booked it in for repairs later in the week.

We got a text message from the repairer that we were not expecting full of photos saying…

‘The repairs that have previously been done to this vehicle were not done properly and it is FULL of rust’

When we picked it up they elaborated warning us not to tow in this the way it is.

OMG we had just spent $40k on a vehicle that couldn’t do what we purchased it for!

After collecting advice we approached the car dealership asking for a resolution to this issue, after assessments and a lot of negotiations backwards and forwards.

The car is back in their possession and we have received a majority refund. Although experiencing a little loss we are just so thankful that we didn’t lose the trailer on our adventures so far and no one was hurt (or worse)
